WWOOFing it Up in Kiwiland: organic farming in New Zealand 2012

3 years later and life brings me back to New Zealand. This time for a longer period, for a different purpose, with a different outlook on life than last time. I hope what transpires from a few years of travelling as far and as wide as possible across this beautiful country is a basic but decent knowledge and experience in organic farming, self sustainable living, and food production. Come and join me, there's loads of room in the car.

I have this problem with choice. Desparately seeking a camcorder to document my adventure.

I have this problem with choice.

If there's more than 2 choices, I struggle.

I've been struggling all day to choose a camcorder to take with me to NZ and each time I think I know which kind of camera I want, the less I'm sure that it's the one I'm looking for because I can't try any of them out. All I can do is look at other people's online reviews and read the specfications. I don't trust my imagination. Or other people's opinions. At least not without a subjective perspective of my own to begin from.... I want to have them in front of me, in my hands, so I can play around with them before I make a decision!

But that's not going to happen, so, does anyone have any recommendations for a relatively affordable camcorder to take to NZ, bearing in mind it rains there as much as Scotland: 260 odd days a year (I was told)?
